Elk Point Lodge

My boyfriend and I stayed here this weekend. It is our new favorite place to go that I randomly found as our tradition is to plan random trips for each other. This place is quiet and serene with the most beautiful views. We stayed in cabin #2 (perfect lake view) We honestly spent so much time just on our deck or lake we didn’t venture out on the property much! There is a ton to do if you’re wanting to keep busy. Staff was so nice and talked with the manager before we left down by the lake. He may have convinced us to make a winter trip! We actually loved watching all the little chipmunks running around on our deck scavenging crumbs. We will definitely be back as I believe Elk Point Lodge stole our hearts.

Just returned from our Hallmark vacation complete with snow. Truly a magical experience for us Texans. The cabin is well equipped for cooking. Nolan was a wonderful host and his tamales; delicious. Loved the decor (especially the Christmas tree) and the linens are top notch. The queen bed was very comfortable and the cabin was toasty. We loved the location and the peaceful, serene environment.

Had a great time at Elk Point Lodge! We stayed in cabin 3, which was cozy and the perfect size for two people and two dogs. The cabin had everything we needed and a spectacular view of the lake from the deck. Easy access to their private beach which had a small cove for swimming and launching our paddleboards. It was well worth the drive from Denver!

A real taste of the outdoors. View better than the pictures they provide in advertisement. Deck, room and everything else just as pictured and described in ad. Enjoyed stay. Just the wife and I but if you have children or young adults still at home this would be a great destination. Many activities on water and even horse back available to keep busy or just lay back and enjoy deck.

Perfectly situated. Even with the lake low we had a delightful 4 days enjoying the river and wonderful solitude. The 4 Corners Cabin is secluded and quiet.

Our trip to Elk Point Lodge was wonderful! We stayed in cabin #6 and the view of the lake is absolutely breathtaking! We enjoyed the rustic location and cozy cabin feel. I only wish we had stayed one more night, so we could have enjoyed more time paddle boarding. One piece of advice, be prepared to completely unplug, because the wifi and cell service was virtually nonexistent. We didn't mind it too much, but I wish I would have known before arriving.

Our stay at Elk Point Lodge was truly exceptional. The cabin was very comfortable, fully equipped with everything we needed, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. We enjoyed all our meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—out on the deck just to soak in the scenery! It’s incredibly convenient for families—everything is right there: the lake, swimming, hiking, playgrounds, trampoline, kayaking, paddleboarding, horseback riding—you name it! Nolan and Olive clearly pour their hearts into creating a space where families like ours can relax, recharge, and reconnect. Their dedication is both inspiring and deeply appreciated. We had dreamed of a vacation like this for a long time, and they made it happen!

What a quaint and lovely place this is! It's a true lodge-of-old type experience. Definitely different from a regular hotel but our room (minus a bathroom as there's a communal bathroom with shower) was clean and comfortable with thoughtful touches. The bed was extremely comfortable with perfect linens. We didn't take advantage of the communal living room but sat on the deck each morning with coffee by the fire pit. The delightful owners just added the lodge option and are still working some bugs out but all in all it was a fine respite at a very reasonable price.
